Firmware Upgrades:

Upgrade to firmware version 2.0:

New features:

• New function: Auto wind direction, sail 2 close hauled tacks and your RockBox will tell you the wind direction
• New function: Auto choose function, based on your heading your RockBox will toggle between two functions. For example, heading with lift/knock for upwind and VMG big digits for downwind
• Auto off time increased to 15 minutes, to allow for satellite acquisistion when travelled far from where you turned your RockBox off last
• Bug fix: Variable sharing caused the DoubleVision screen to miss updates under certain circumstances, this is fixed in this version of the firmware

How to upgrade your firmware:

Step 1: Read the instructions on how to use the new functions

Right click here and choose "save as" to download the latest instructions

 

Step 2: Install RockBox Commander PC software version 1.1.1 This version adds graphics file update capability

Right click here and choose "save as" to download the installer file

 

Step 3: Install RockBox firmware version 2.0

Right click here and choose "save as" to download version 2.0

Step 4: Update the graphics file on your RockBox

Right click here and choose "save as" to download graphics file version B

Step 5: DONE!
