Startine line functions of the RockBox:

Display your distance to the line, time to the line, and a countdown timer.

Use the remote control to navigate through the menu system, choose the function you want, and GO!

Startline alone

Set the locations of the marks defining the starting line and this function will display your distance to the line
Allows for tuning if you see that it is off by a distance while making a practice run, no need to remember the offset or reset the marks
Can be set to display either True or Perendicular distance

Distance and countdown timer

Set the locations of the marks defining the starting line and this function will display your distance to the line along with a countdown timer

Time to the line and distance

Set the locations of the marks defining the starting line and this function will display your distance to the line and at the same time calculate and display the time to the line at your present speed

NOTE: Time to the line (TTL) is an experimental function, we want your feedback on how well it works. Rather than keep it to ourselves while we find out its benefits, we decided to get it to everyone to try and based on everyone's feedback we'll make changes as necessary to fine tune its operation

Time to the line and countdown timer

Display a countdown timer and at the same time calculate and display the time to the line at your present speed, synchronize the two for a perfect start!
