Set up functions of the RockBox:
You have the option of setting the user preferences for your RockBox either using the RockBox Commander software or directly using the remote control while on the water.
Use the remote control to navigate through the menu system, choose the function you want, and GO!
Starting line setup
- Set the starting line distance type to either Perpendicular or True
- Enter distance from your bow to the location of your RockBox to increase accuracy when using True distance. This is the J dimension when your RockBox is mounted on your mast

Magnetic variance setup
- Enter your local magnetic variance or declination to show degrees magnetic for all heading functions

Damping setup
- Enter the damping rate that best suits your boat or conditions, 0 = no damping
|

Waypoint setup
- Set the waypoint bearing to display in either True or Relative
|
 |
Data log setup
- Enter the rate to save log data
- Choose minutes or seconds
- Enter the amount of minutes or seconds (1 to 255)

Graph Magnification
- OFF: The graphs display from zero to the maximum reading
- ON: The graphs display from the minimum reading to the maximum reading
- Allows you to see even the smallest change

Demo mode
- Get to know, or show off, your RockBox without being in motion or having a GPS signal available

Units setup
- Set your RockBox to use either English (ft, mile) or metric (m, km) units
